围岩蚀变是热液矿床的重要组成部分,与矿床形成关系密切,利用蚀变矿物组合、蚀变岩和蚀变矿物的成分变化,可推断成矿时的物理化学条件及其变化,同时蚀变岩和蚀变矿物也是重要的找矿标志。东天山地区近年来取得了VMS型矿床重要勘查突破,且这些矿床具有较为特征的大范围围岩蚀变,然而目前对围岩蚀变全面细致的典例研究工作还非常缺乏。本项目将以东天山红海VMS型铜-锌矿床的围岩蚀变为研究对象,通过三维蚀变填图、岩相学和短波红外光谱分析,完善矿化蚀变分带,分析不同空间位置蚀变岩化学成分和主要蚀变矿物绿泥石、黄铁矿原位化学成分,查明蚀变作用强度并揭示元素迁移规律;结合蚀变矿物组合特征,厘定成矿热液的化学组成和物理化学条件,探讨元素富集机制,进而精细刻画成矿过程。在此基础上,根据蚀变岩、绿泥石和黄铁矿化学成分的空间变化规律,提取围岩蚀变勘查指示标志,以期对卡拉塔格矿区深部和外围的VMS勘查工作提供科学指导。
英文摘要
As an important component of hydrothermal deposits, wall rock alteration is highly associated with mineralization. Therefore, changes of alteration mineral assemblages, chemical compositions of altered rocks and alteration minerals, can indicate the physicochemical conditions and their changes during mineralization. Meanwhile, altered rocks and alteration minerals are also significant prospecting indicators. In recent years, important breakthroughs have been made in the exploration of VMS type deposits in the Eastern Tianshan, NW China. These deposits are characterized by extensive wall rock alteration, however, comprehensive and detailed case studies on wall rock alteration are still absent. This project will focus on wall rock alteration of the Honghai VMS type deposit, Eastern Tianshan. The mineralization / alteration zonation will be divided by three-dimentional alteration mapping, petrography and short wavelength infrared (SWIR) spectral analysis. In order to figure out the spatial changes of alteration intensity and patterns of elements mass transfer, the compositions of altered rocks, in situ compositions of principle alteration minerals (e.g. chlorite and pyrite) from different locations will be analyzed. Combined with characteristics of alteration mineral assemblages, the contents and physicochemical conditions of hydrothermal fluids will be identified, and the mechanism of elements enrichment will be revealed. The above works will help deciphering the ore-forming processes of the Honghai VMS type deposit. Finally, we will clarify the spatial variations of compositions of altered rocks, in situ composition of chlorite and pyrite, which could be selected as exploration vectors of wall rock alteration, to provide guidance for the deep and regional exploration of VMS type deposits in the Kalatag ore-field.
