碘酸盐晶体在非线性光学材料领域有着重要的应用。目前金属碘酸盐研究较多的体系主要集中在单金属和各类混金属碘酸盐体系。这类碘酸盐晶体往往存在诸如结构单一、透过范围不够宽或激光损伤阈值不够高等问题,综合性能更加理想的碘酸盐二阶非线性光学晶体亟待研究和开发。含氟金属碘酸盐是一个具有潜在研究价值和应用价值的新型非线性光学晶体体系,F的引入容易诱导产生非中心对称结构,促进碘酸根基团的有利排布和极化作用相互叠加,增强化合物的非线性效应。同时,能够拓宽碘酸盐的透过范围和提高激光损伤阈值,形成性能优异的二阶非线性光学碘酸盐晶体。本项目拟开展含氟金属碘酸盐体系的系统研究,通过控制反应原料中的F/I比,实现氟化碘酸盐、碘酸盐氟化物和含MOnF6-n八面体碘酸盐三大体系目标晶体的可控合成。探讨含氟金属碘酸盐的结构与其二阶非线性光学效应之间的构效关系,为设计合成稳定、高效的非线性光学晶体材料提供理论依据。

Metal iodates are of great importance in the investigation of nonlinear optical (NLO) materials. Up to the presence, most of the research has been focused on simple iodates and mixed-metal iodates. Issues such as simple structures, limited transparent window and low laser damage threshold (LDT) hinder the further application of iodate crystals. Second-order NLO metal iodates with more ideal comprehensive performance are to be studied and developed urgently. Fluorine-containing metal iodates are a new second-order NLO crystal system with potential research and application value. Introducing fluorine into metal iodates tends to trigger the formation of non-centrosymmetric (NCS) crystal structures and favor the proper alignment of IO3 units, leading to the addition of microscopic polarization and enhanced second-order NLO property. Furthermore, introducing fluorine can widen the transparent window and enlarge the LDT value of iodate crystals, leading to excellent NLO materials. In this project, we propose to systematacially investigate fluorine-containing metal iodates as promising second-order NLO materials. Controllable synthesis of fluoroiodates, iodate florides and iodate compounds containing MOnF6-n octahedral will be realized by controlling the F/I ratios in the reacting mixtures. The relationships between the structure of the materials and their SHG efficiencies will be studied, This project will so as to provide theoretical basis for the design and synthesis of stable and efficient NLO crystal materials.
含氟金属碘酸盐倍频晶体的发现表明,F−离子的引入容易诱导产生非中心对称结构,促进碘酸根基团的有利排布和极化作用相互叠加。同时,由于F−离子的引入,化合物的带隙增大,因此能够拓宽碘酸盐的透过范围和提高激光损伤阈值,形成性能优异的二阶非线性光学碘酸盐晶体。基于以上观点,含氟金属碘酸盐是一个具有潜在研究和应用价值的新型二阶非线性光学碘酸盐晶体体系。然而,相关研究才刚刚起步,相关工作亟待进行。综上所述,结合申请人前期的工作基础,本研究开展了金属碘酸盐体系的研究,设计合成新型碘酸盐晶体,并分析碘酸盐晶体结构与性能之间的构效关系。进一步丰富和拓展碘酸盐体系,探索该类材料的合成规律,为实现设计合成稳定、高效的非线性光学晶体材料提供理论依据。
