代际流动水平反映了父辈与子辈之间经济、社会、政治等因素关联程度，是度量社会公平和社会活力的重要指标。测度地区代际流动水平是刻画地区间经济社会差异的重要维度。但碍于测度方法和数据质量限制，鲜有研究针对中国城市代际流动水平进行测度，也限制了代际流动对微观主体行为影响问题的研究进展。本研究拟利用新的测度方法和数据结构，测度中国城市代际流动水平，探究地区代际流动差异对人口迁移决策的影响，具有重要理论价值和现实意义。本课题将具体开展三方面工作，一是借鉴和改进绝对代际流动测度方法，克服代际收入弹性测度方法的理论缺陷，利用家庭社会地位信息，测度中国城市代际流动水平。二是基于准自然实验方法克服内生性偏误，因果识别城市代际流动对人口迁移决策的影响，为人口迁移决策的代际流动偏好提供中国的微观证据。三是基于盖茨比曲线理论和迁移决策随机效用选择模型，实证检验人口迁移决策中代际流动偏好的宏观传导机制和微观行为动机。

Inter-generational mobility level reflects the association degree of economic, social, politics and other factors between parents and children, and it is an important indicator for measuring social equity and social vitality. As a big country, measuring the inter-generational mobility level in China is an important dimension to describe the economic and social differences between regions. However, due to the limitations of measurement methods and data quality, there are few studies on the inter-generational mobility level measurement at Chinese urban level, and it also limits the research progress on how inter-generational mobility factors affect micro-subject behavior. .This project intends to measure the inter-generational mobility level of Chinese cities scientifically, and to explore the impact of inter-generational mobility on regional emigration decisions, which has important theoretical value and practical significance. This project will carry out three aspects of work in detail. First, it will learn and improve the measurement method of absolute inter-generational mobility, overcoming the theoretical defects of the traditional measurement indexes of relative inter-generational mobility, measuring the inter-generational mobility level of Chinese cities scientifically, and characterizing the facts of inter-generational mobility differences among cities. Second, through the causal identification of the impact of urban inter-generational mobility on regional emigration decisions, providing Chinese micro-evidences for inter-generational mobility preference of regional emigration decisions. Then based on the Gatsby curve and the random utility selection model, from two aspects of macroscopic mechanism and micro-motivation, the project studies the internal mechanism of inter-generational mobility preference of regional emigration decisions.
