城市内部犯罪问题不仅会受到市内居民日常移动模式和节律的影响,也会受到市际人口流动规模和结构的影响。而公共交通作为城市运行中不可或缺的公共产品,在促进市内外人口流动方面发挥着重要角色,因此必然会对城市犯罪时空格局产生显著影响。已有相关研究存在忽略市际公共交通、公交影响测度不准确、时空分析尺度单一、公交对犯罪影响机制不明确等若干不足。本项目引入交通出行和场所登记等多源时空大数据,还原人员个体移动轨迹,创新公交影响测度指标,系统研究市际(航空、铁路、公路)和市内公共交通对城市犯罪影响的时空异质性特征,并通过构建基于智能体模型的犯罪过程模拟实验室,对市内外公共交通体系与城市犯罪之间关系的若干机制性理论假设进行模拟评估,从而明确市内外公共交通对城市犯罪影响的时空异质性特征及其具体作用机制。研究成果可响应国家提出的重大需求,也可为城市公交组织、犯罪防控等提供科学决策依据。
英文摘要
The crime in a city is not only affected by the daily movement of its own residents, but also by the scale and structure of the population flow from the other cities. As an indispensable public good for urban operation, the public transport plays an important role in encouraging the population movement both inside and outside the city, thus imposing a significant impact on the spatial-temporal pattern of crime events. The existing pertinent researches, however, have several major limitations, such as the overlook of the impact by inter-city public transport, the inaccurate measuring of the public transport’s impact, the use of only a single spatial-temporal scale, and the ambiguity of the mechanisms for the crime-transport relationship, etc. To fill up these gaps, this project leverages the spatial-temporal big data generated by the transport ride and place registration to restore the movement trajectory of each individual and innovate the measurement of public transport’s impact, then explores systematically the spatial-temporal heterogeneity of the impacts on urban crime by both the inter-city and intra-city public transports, and finally constructs a virtual crime simulation lab based on agent-based models to evaluate the feasibility of different hypothetical mechanisms for the transport-crime relationships. The ultimate goal of this project is to clarify the spatial-temporal heterogeneity of the transport-crime nexus and its specific mechanisms. It is expected that the research findings would respond to several major national calls and provide scientific evidence for the decision-making on the public transport organization and crime prevention and control.
