强子化是强相互作用理论QCD的难题之一,其机制至今只能以唯象模型与实验的互动研究进行探索。LHC和RHIC实验观测表明:夸克胶子等离子体(QGP)已经产生,夸克组合机制是QGP强子化的选择。最近我们发现,在LHC上高多重数pPb碰撞实验中夸克组合强子化又展现出标志性的新特征,即强子横动量谱的组份夸克数目标度性。这种组份夸克标度性在其它高能反应中如何?重离子碰撞能量扫描时又如何表现?能否作为相变的一个信号?本项目拟结合最新RHIC能量扫描实验和LHC实验开展碰撞质心能量3-5020GeV宽广能区强子产生的系统研究。通过研究轻味和粲强子-反强子产生不对称、粲强子与轻味强子产生动力学关联、粲重子和含粲多夸克态产生等,弄清楚组份夸克有效自由度、重子介子产生竞争、多夸克态产生机制等关键动力学,发展夸克组合强子化模型,深入理解强子化规律;以强子化为纽带,从末态实验数据中获取QCD物质的更多信息。

Hadronization is a difficult topic of strong interaction theory (quantum chromodynamics, QCD). So far, it is mainly studied by various phenomenological models in close connection with high energy collision experiments. LHC and RHIC experiments show that quark-gluon plasma (QGP) is produced at early stage and the quark combination is the effective mechanism of QGP hadronization. At present, we show that in high multiplicity pPb collisions the quark combination mechanism exhibits a new characteristic, i.e., the constituent quark number scaling of the hadron transverse momentum spectra. Does such quark number scaling still hold in other high energy reactions, especially in the Beam Energy Scan experiments? Is it a possible signal of the phase transition? Taking advantage of newest data of RHIC and LHC experiments, this project systematically studies the collision energy dependence of hadron production in heavy-ion collisions at broad collision energies (sqrt(s_NN)=3-5020GeV), and tests the universality of quark combination in describing the hadronization of QGP under different net-baryon number densities. By studying the antihadron-hadron asymmetry in light and charm sectors, dynamical correlation of light and charm hadron production, charm baryon and multiquark state containing charm (anti-)quarks production, we develop our quark combination model and gain more understandings of hadronization dynamics; on the other hand, we provide effective prediction of reflecting the property of QCD matter created in heavy ion collisions.
