我国高能加速器物理发展战略理论研讨

高能加速器是探索微观世界的有效工具。在高能物理领域，理论和实验研究的重大进展，不仅深化了人类对微观世界构成及相互作用的认识，在客观上也推动了与加速器相关的高科技的发展，对人类社会的经济和文化发展带来了深刻的影响。随着LHC的成功运行，特别是疑似Higgs粒子的发现、大亚湾反应堆中微子实验取得重要成果、BEPCII物理目标的逐步实现，我国高能加速器物理的发展又到了一个关键的时间节点。对于中国这样一个新兴经济大国，在高能物理研究方面如何发展，如何在加强国际合作的同时，开展以我为主的高能加速器物理研究，是亟需研讨的问题。本项目拟以高能物理学会为依托，推动我国高能物理学界对以上问题进行充分的研讨和交流，梳理各种方案，以期最终在我国高能加速器物理发展方向上达成共识，为国家决策高能加速器建设提供参考。

High energy accelerators are useful means in exploring the micro world of matter. The great achievement in theoretical and experimental high energy physics not only has lead to a deep understanding on the basic consitituents and their interactions of matter in the micro world, but also has advanced the development of modern technology. With the successful running of the LHC, especially its new finding on a Higgs-like particle, the acchievement of the Daya Bay neutrino experiment, and the progress in the BEPCII /BESIII project, the development strategy of accelerator-based high energy physics in China is now a crucial issue. In addition to international collaborations, we need to investigate possibilities of building new high energy accelerators in China. With the support of NSFC, we will organize a number of meetings and forums to study the best schemes for the development of high energy accelerators in China.
