我国技术科学在国家的大力扶持下迅猛发展，在国际上的影响越来越大，海外的华人科学家为数众多，而我国技术科学方面的学术期刊在国际上尚未取得相应的地位。本刊主要报道材料、机械工程、自动控制、工程热物理、水利、空间科学、航空、土木工程、核科学与技术、电工、电机、建筑、工程力学、通信及电子等领域基础研究和应用研究方面具重要意义的创新性成果，在国内外已具有广泛影响。目前本刊的影响因子由0.265提高到0.729，进入Q2分区，平均审稿速度3个月，编委会邀请到大量高水平稿件出版专辑专题，国际稿件量也逐年增加。因此本刊具有冲击国际顶尖刊物的巨大潜力。如果能持续得到国家基金的支持，有望在今后的几年里，在稿源质量、影响因子、被引频次、快速评审、快速发表、网络出版、人才引进、编辑业务培训、国际知名度、社会影响力等方面，有更显著的提高，在行业内占据更重要的位置，成为技术科学领域内国际一流的学术期刊。

With the support of our country, the technological sciences develop rapidly and have more and more international influence. There are many Chinese scientists abroad, but the technological sciences journals in our country have not yet obtained corresponding international position. Science China Technological Sciences, an academic journal cosponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published by Science China Press and Springer, is committed to publishing high-quality, original results in both basic and applied research. The subject areas featured include materials, engineering mechanics, mechanical engineering, water resources, engineering thermophysics, electronic engineering, space science, astronomics, architecture, civil engineering, nuclear science, etc. The journal has already have extensive effect at home and abroad. At present the impact factors of the journal has raised from 0.265 to 0.729, and entered Q2 section. The average review cycle is 3 months. The members of editorial committee have invited a lot high level manuscripts to publish special issue and topic with international manuscripts increasing year by year. So the journal has huge potential to become an international top level journal.
