过渡金属氢化物广泛存在各种工业催化和有机合成反应过程中,被认为是很多反应的活性中间体,同时也是非常有用的合成试剂。六族金属氢化物被认为是很多工业加氢过程的催化活性中心而受到广泛的关注,但是相应的多核金属氢化物却未有报道。本项目拟开展多核六族金属氢化物的合成、结构以及在小分子活化转化中的应用。通过氢化相应的烷基化合物合成一系列多核六族金属氢化物,研究其化学和电子结构特点,考察其与含硫和含氮杂环化合物、氮气、一氧化碳、二氧化碳等小分子的反应,探索多重键化学键活化模式,分离并表征反应中间体,结合计算阐明反应机理,为从分子水平上理解工业反应机制以及开发温和条件下惰性小分子催化转化提供新的思路。

Transition metal hydride complexes play a important role in a wide range of industrial processes and organic synthesis. They have been thought to be responsible for lots of transformations and they are very useful synthetic reagents. There is great current interest in the group VI metal hydride complexes, because they are believed to be the active species of many hydrotreating processes in industry. However, the synthesis of their polynuclear metal hydride complexes have not been reported yet. The overall goal of this research is to develop the chemistry of the polynuclear group VI metal hydride complexes, including synthesis, structure and reactivitis toward small molecules. A series of complexes will be synthesized through the hydrogenolysis of their corresponding alkyl complexes. The chemical and electric structure of polynueclar metal hydride complexes will be investigated. The reactivities of the complexes toward sulfur and nitrogen containing heterocycles, dinitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and other small molecules will examined. The activation chemistry of multiple chemical bonds will be explored and the intermediates of the processes will be isolated and characterized. Combined with computational analysis, the reaction mechanism will be clarified. The research may help better understand the reaction mechanism of the industrial processes, and thus aid to develop new methods for catalytic transformations of small inert molecules under mild conditions.
