揭示植物抗病分子机制是当今植物病理学和植物抗病育种中的热点问题。前期研究发现, BIK1是植物PTI信号通路中关键成分,通过与FLS2等PRRs互作激活PTI的下游信号通路。作为进化上高度保守性的细胞质类受体激酶,研究OsBIKs在水稻抗病中的作用机理,有助于人们深入了解植物细胞与病原菌之间的相互识别机理及各种信号分子传导的机制。本项目拟通过遗传学、生物化学及分子生物学等方法,研究OsBIKs在水稻XA21介导的PTI信号通路中的抗病机制:探明OsBIKs与XA21互作方式,鉴定OsBIKs的互作蛋白,阐述OsBIKs感知上游信号和调节下游底物的作用机制,进一步完善植物天然免疫系统,为提高农作物的抗病性提供新思路。
英文摘要
The plant innate immune sesytem detects the presence of microbial pathogens and triggers defence response to terminate or restrict pathogen progression, less is known about the celluar mechanisms that contibute to the execution of immune response. Genetic and molecular analyses indicated that BIK1, the high evolutionally conserved RLCK, plays a critical role in signaling transduction of PTI pathway and can integrates signals from multiple PRRs. This project will elucidate the OsBIKs function in rice bacterial leaf blight resistance. We will investigate how OsBIKs interacte with Xa21, identify OsBIKs co-regulators and elucidate their functions. Thus, this study will help us greatly to understand the molecular mechanism of rice disease resistance and the biochemistry functions of OsBIKs in plant innate immunity. Studies of rice innate immunity will advance mechanistic knowledge of this important plant stress response as well as for crop improvement.
