印度季风区长时间尺度的雨热配置特征一直是古气候研究中的关注热点。然而,由于研究方法和手段的限制,该问题又是长期的研究难点。本研究选取对印度季风极其敏感的亚热带高山湖泊——云南省云龙天池作为对象,开展现代硅藻季节分布调查,提取硅藻对温度变化的敏感响应信息,构建硅藻-温度转换函数;调查现代湖泊表层沉积硅藻组合随水深的空间分布特征,构建硅藻-水深转换函数;利用经过高精度AMS14C定年的沉积岩芯,构建高分辨率的全新世硅藻组合演化序列;为避免年代误差,利用硅藻转换函数,定量重建同一钻孔同一全新世时段样品的温度和湖泊水位变化历史,通过对比分析全新世不同时段的温度和降水变化过程,揭示印度季风区长时间尺度(全新世亚轨道尺度)的雨热配置特征。本项目有望为正确认识现代暖期印度季风降水的变化趋势和原因,合理预测本区未来持续变暖背景下的气候发展方向,并科学制定气候调控措施提供基础参考依据。
英文摘要
The long time-scale relationship between temperature and precipitation changes in the Indian Monsoon Region is a hot scientific issue in the field of paleoclimate. However, due to the limitation of methods and indicators, the research on this issue has long been stagnant. In this study, Yunlong Lake, a climate-sensitive subtropical alpine lake located in Yunnan Province of China, is selected to conduct this research. A survey on seasonal succession characteristics of modern diatom assemblages of the lake is carried out to extract diatom sensitive response information to seasonal water temperature changes and construct a diatom-temperature transfer function. A diatom-water depth transfer function is also constructed to reconstruct past lake water-level change by investigating the spatial characteristics of surface-sediment diatom assemblages with water depth. Then, combined with high-density AMS14C dating of a long sediment core from the center of the lake, a high-resolution sequence of Holocene diatom assemblage succession is constructed. To avoid age errors between different records, the former-constructed diatom transfer functions are used for an independently quantitative reconstruction of the changes in water temperature and water level during the Holocene aiming at samples from the same sediment core. By exploring the sub-orbital scale relationship between temperature and precipitation changes in the Indian Monsoon Region, this project can provide a basic reference for identifying the tendency and reason of monsoon precipitation changes in modern warm period, predicting the climate development and formulating reasonable climatic controls for the region in the background of future global warming.
