The "Rust+Fouling" of marine engineering materials has become a classic problem of marine technology, which is not only related to the safety of marine engineering service, but also the heavy metal pollution has seriously affected the marine ecology and marine carbon sink. With the reduction of cost, the "Marine metal" titanium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance has become the preferred material, but its good biocompatibility leads to the extremely serious fouling problem and induces damage such as pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion, which limits its wide application in the marine environment. Therefore, focusing on the corrosion and fouling problem of titanium alloy, this project focuses on the unique semi active and semi life composite interface, which is the core area of interaction for the first time. Starting with the electron and ion transfer at the composite interface, we realize the in-situ real-time study of electron and ion transfer process at the corrosion and fouling composite interface at the same time and at the same site in the artificial simulated marine environment, with the help of high time and high spatial resolution synchrotron radiation QXAFS and μ-XRF/XAFS combined with electrochemical and biological methods. Finally, reveal the microstructure dynamic evolution law of corrosion and fouling process. Build a new model of corrosion and fouling interaction mechanism based on composite interface electron and ion transfer, and clarify the key control steps and ion toxicity conversion mechanism, so as to help the service safety of offshore engineering and marine carbon sink.
