空间堆研究在深空探测领域具有重要意义。空间堆重量轻、体积小、能量密度高,超临界事故必须避免,所以,空间堆设计冗余小、须精准,要有高精度的核数据支持。铼因熔点高、抗拉伸、极冷极热状态转换时不变形而成为空间堆重要的结构材料,而IAEA数据库中铼的数据存在较大分歧,因此,空间堆物理研究急需对铼的核数据进行高精度测量。.申请项目拟在CSNS反角白光中子源,利用γ全吸收型BaF2探测装置,瞬发γ射线在线测量方法,开展eV-MeV能区Re-185(n,γ)Re-186和Re-187(n,γ)Re-188反应截面的高精度测量,不确定度小于5%。内容包括:白光中子源实验条件针对性建设研究,GTAF升级完善研究,(n,γ)反应实验技术研究,样品在线测量研究,实验数据离线分析研究等。项目实施,可为空间堆物理研究提供基础数据支持,还将为放射性核和裂变核的(n,γ)反应截面测量积累经验。
英文摘要
Research of the space reactor is important in the field of deep space detection. With features of light, small, high power-density, any above-critical accident must be avoided. The designing of the space reactor must be exactness and accurate nuclear data are needed. Characterized with high melting-point, stretch resistant and non-deforming when the environmente changed from hot to cold, the rhenium alloy has been massively applied in the construction of the space reactor. Accurate nuclear data of isotopes of rhenium is essential in the physical study of the space reactor. The disagreement within different databases should be clarified..Objective of the proposed project is to accurately measure the neutron capture reaction cross sections of rhenium. At the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS), by using the Gamma Ray Total Absorption Barium Fluoride Facility (GTAF) and online method, we hope to measure the reaction cross sections of Re-185(n,γ)Re-186 and Re-187(n,γ)Re-188 and obtain good experimental result, statistical error smaller than 5%. The main works included: (1) setting up of the experimental conditions for the neutron capture cross-section measurement, (2) alteration and perfection of the GTAF, (3) research of the experimental technologies, (4) measurement of the samples, (5) offline data analysis, and so on. If the application is funded and implemented, the space reactor research and innovation will be supported by basic data. Also experiences of this work are necessary for the neutron capture cross section measurements for the radioactive nuclide and the fissile nuclide.
