英文摘要
The vertical tectonic movements in southeastern South China is critical to the understanding of the Mesozoic tectonic evolution of South China and its evolving plate tectonic dynamics. The now widely-exposed Mesozoic granitic intrusions, and the Upper Triassic-Lower Jurassic shallow marine basin once appeared in the region, indicate that large-scale vertical tectonic movements have occurred in southeastern South China since the Mesozoic. Systematic thermochronological study will facilitate the establishment of vertical tectonic process of southeastern South China. This study applies detrital muscovite 40Ar/39Ar and detrital zircon (U-Th)/He dating, and the hornblende and biotite 40Ar/39Ar and apatite fission-track analysis, to sandstones from the Upper Triassic – Lower Jurassic shallow marine basins and Triassic – Early Jurassic granites in the southeastern South China, respectively. The results will be utilized to trace the thermal history of the Lower Mesozoic basin and its source area, and the cooling history of the Early Mesozoic granites, in order to reconstruct the exhumation history of the Early Mesozoic orogen and the thermal history of Lower Mesozoic basin. The aim of this study is to decode the thermal evolution and the spatial and temporal distribution of vertical tectonic movements in South China, and to provide thermochronological constraints on the Mesozoic tectono-thermal evolution and plate tectonic dynamics of the southeastern South China.
