中国数学会普及与传播工作委员会学术研讨会暨第十二届全国数学文化论坛

数学文化是人类社会发展进步的产物，是整个人类文化的重要组成部分，也是人类社会发展的重要推动力。数学文化主要包括数学思想、精神、方法、观点，数学史，数学教育等及其形成和发展，以及数学与人文社会科学等各类文化的联系。为了推广普及数学文化，中国数学会开展了一系列数学文化传播活动。由中国数学会主办和数学天元基金资助的“全国数学文化论坛”是一个全国性高水平的数学文化交流活动，其主要目的是研讨交流国内外数学文化研究进展，推进我国数学文化研究，繁荣数学文化，更好地引领数学发展。该论坛已经成功举办过十一届。2022年，全国共有12家单位申报了中国数学会第十二届全国数学文化论坛。经过2轮激烈角逐，云南师范大学成功获得第十二届“全国数学文化论坛”承办资格，拟定于2023年7月21日至7月24日在昆明市举行（视新冠肺炎疫情发展情况决定是否延期）。为了成功举办本次论坛，特申请本专项基金资助。

Mathematical culture is the product of the development and progress of human society. It is not only an important part of the whole human culture, but also an important driving force for the development of human society. Mathematical culture mainly includes mathematical thought, spirit, method, viewpoint, mathematical history, mathematical education and its formation and development, as well as the relationship between mathematics and various cultures such as humanities and social sciences. In order to popularize mathematics culture, Chinese Mathematical Society has carried out a series of communication activities on mathematical culture. “The National Mathematical Culture Forum”, sponsored by the Chinese Mathematical Society and funded by the Mathematical Tianyuan Fund, is a national high-level mathematical culture exchange event. Its main purpose is to discuss and exchange the research progress of mathematical culture at home and abroad, promote the research of mathematical culture in China, thrive mathematical culture and lead the development of mathematics much better. The forum has been successfully held for eleven times. In 2022, a total of 12 institutions across the country applied for the 12th National Mathematical Culture Forum held by the Chinese Mathematical Society. After two rounds of fierce competition, Yunnan Normal University has successfully won the qualification to host the 12th National Mathematics and Culture Forum, which is scheduled to be held in Kunming from July 21 to July 24, 20223(depending on situation of COVID-19). In order to successfully hold this forum, we hereby apply for the support of this special fund.
