森林天然更新是实现生态恢复与重建的重要途径之一,也是维持森林动态稳定和可持续发展的基础。针对西北高寒山地针叶林建群种幼苗难以成活、天然更新能力差的生态学过程及其驱动机制研究的薄弱环节。本项目以祁连山大野口流域分布的青海云杉林天然更新幼苗为研究对象,利用该流域建立的海拔梯度固定样地(垂直尺度)和动态监测大样地(水平尺度)进行幼苗更新野外试验,对样地内幼苗更新和影响幼苗更新的主要生态因子进行调查和监测,结合青海云杉林生态系统长期定位监测数据和历史研究成果,采用经典数理统计、更新理论和数学模型,研究不同尺度下的青海云杉林幼苗更新天然格局及其与生态因子的耦合关系,探索影响青海云杉林幼苗更新格局的关键限制性生态因子和尺度效应,阐明青海云杉林幼苗存活和生长的主要生态学过程及其相对重要性,揭示青海云杉林幼苗更新格局及其驱动机制。以期为改善祁连山生态环境、促进该区社会经济的可持续发展提供科学依据。

Forest natural regeneration is one of the important ways to realize ecological restoration and reconstruction, and it is also the foundation to maintain forest dynamic stability and sustainable development. Aiming at the weak links in the ecological process and its driving mechanism of mountain forest constructive species seedlings in northwest alpine mountains, which are difficult to survive and the natural regeneration ability is poor. This study selected the natural regeneration seedlings of Picea crassifolia forest as the research object which lived in the Dayekou basin of the Qilian Mountains, the field experiment was carried out by using the fixed sample plot of elevation gradient on vertical scale and the large sample plot of dynamic monitoring on horizontal scale. The main ecological factors of seedlings regeneration and affecting seedlings regeneration were investigated and monitored, combined with long-term monitoring data and historical researches of Picea crassifolia forest ecosystem, using the classical mathematical statistics, renewal theory and mathematical model to study the nature pattern of Picea crassifolia forest seedlings regeneration and its coupling relationship with ecological factors research under different scales. Exploring the key limiting ecological factors and scale effects affecting the regeneration pattern of Picea crassifolia forest seedlings, elucidating the main ecological processes and their relative importance of seedlings survival and growth of Picea crassifolia forest regeneration seedlings, and revealing the regeneration pattern and its driving mechanism of Picea crassifolia forest seedlings. In order to provide scientific basis for improve the ecological environment of Qilian Mountains and promote the sustainable development of the social economy in this area.
项目以祁连山大野口流域分布的青海云杉林天然更新幼苗和幼树为研究对象,利用该流域建立的海拔梯度固定样地(垂直尺度)和动态监测大样地(水平尺度)进行幼苗更新野外试验,对样地内幼苗更新和影响幼苗更新的主要生态因子进行调查和监测,结合青海云杉林生态系统长期定位监测数据和历史研究成果,采用经典数理统计、更新理论和数学模型,研究了不同尺度下的青海云杉林更新试验地环境状况、青海云杉林种群更新的空间分布格局、青海云杉更新苗对地形因子的响应、青海云杉林林分结构对更新的影响、青海云杉更新及其对土壤因子的响应、青海云杉天然更新格局的尺度效应、生物和非生物因子对青海云杉更新苗影响的综合性分析,分析了幼苗幼树更新天然格局及其与生态因子的耦合关系,探索了影响青海云杉林幼苗更新格局的关键限制性生态因子和尺度效应,阐明了青海云杉林幼苗存活和生长的主要生态学过程及其相对重要性,揭示了青海云杉林幼苗更新格局及其驱动机制,并将理论在祁连山沙荒地和高寒矿区进行了应用。对本项目试验数据进行了整理,包括样地的林分结构、更新苗动态调查、地形因子、土壤理化性质、苔藓枯落物结构等信息。在国家级核心期刊发表了学术期刊论文18篇,其中SCI论文3篇,CSCD论文15篇,分别发表在Journal of Forestry Research、Science of The Total Environment、山地学报、生态学报、植物生态学报等期刊。出版专著1部(47万字)、授权发明专利4项。培养青年科技骨干5名,研究生8名。这些研究成果和数据及人才培养为改善祁连山生态环境、促进该区社会经济的可持续发展提供了科学依据和数据保证及智力支撑。
