目前许多研究发现,富有机质页岩发育时期经常与火山、热液、海侵等事件作用相伴生,因此富有机质页岩和事件作用之间的耦合关系日趋被重视。而古生产力作为控制有机质富集的最重要因素之一,对它与事件作用之间关系的研究还很薄弱。针对事件作用对古生产力的影响及机制这一核心科学问题,本项目借助现代的新鲜火山灰、温泉热液和海水开展藻类培育实验,模拟火山、热液活动和海侵作用对藻类发育的影响。首先设置加火山灰、温泉热液和海水与不加的对照实验,以验证事件作用对藻类发育是否有促进作用;其次是利用不同数量的火山灰、温泉热液和海水进行培育藻类,根据实验结果建立事件作用强度与藻类生长情况的定量关系;最后分析火山灰、温泉热液和海水及其与培养液中海水和淡水的元素差异,据此设置对照实验,根据实验结果探讨事件作用影响藻类生长的机制。本次研究的结果对明确有机质的富集机理,弄清事件作用与富有机质烃源岩的伴生机制具有重要的意义。

At present, many studies have found that the formation periods of organic-rich shales are often associated with geological events, such as volcanic and hydrothermal activities, and marine incursion. Therefore, the coupling relationship between organic-rich and geological events has been paid more and more attention. However, the study on the relationship between palaeoproductivity, one of the most important factors controlling the enrichment of organic matter, and geological events is still very weak. Aiming at the core scientific problem of the influence of geological events on palaeoproductivity and its mechanism, this project will use modern fresh volcanic ash, hot spring, and seawater to carry out algal cultivation experiments, to simulate the influence of volcanic and hydrothermal activities, and marine incursion on algal growth. Firstly, the control experiments with or without volcanic ash, hot spring, and seawater will be set up to verify whether these events can promote algae growth. In addition, the algae will be cultivated by different amounts of volcanic ash, hot spring, and seawater. The quantitative relationship between the event intensity and algae growth was established according to the experimental results. Finally, control experiments will be set up according to the differences of elements among volcanic ash, hot spring, seawater, and seawater and fresh water in culture medium. Based on the experimental results, the mechanism of influence of geological events on algae growth will be discussed. The results of this study are of great significance to clarify the enrichment mechanism of organic matter, and the mechanism of geological events associated with organic-rich source rocks.
富有机质泥页岩形成机理与分布规律是石油地质学研究的一个基础内容,越来越多的研究揭示,富有机质泥页岩的分布具有很强的非均质性,它们在一个盆地中往往只赋存于某一层位或某几个层位之内,并且发育时期经常与火山、热液、海侵、气候变化等事件作用相伴生。事件作用对有机质富集的影响是多方面的,其中古生产力是一个重要方面,它为富有机质页岩的形成提供了物质基础。目前,关于事件作用对古生产力影响的研究还很薄弱,还有待深入研究。本项目借助现代的新鲜火山灰、温泉热液和海水等开展了藻类培育实验,结果表明,火山灰与温泉热液对藻类发育具有促进作用,并且火山灰和热液量越大,藻类越发育;而与之相反,海水对淡水藻类的发育具有抑制作用。本项目研究成果明确了地质历史时期这些事件作用对古生产力的影响,从而为研究事件作用与富有机质烃源岩之间的伴生关系提供实验和理论支撑。
