1. A caw of brain abscess due to Hormodendrum dermatitidis was reported. The patient, 30 years of age, had a rather rapid onset of the disease with headache, left hemiplegia, meningeal signs and slight clouding of consciousness, which were further aggravated till her death 85 days after the onset.
