Plantar fasciitis and induratio penis plastica are two well-known disorders that are associated with palmar fasciitis in some patients. The term Dupuytren's diathesis is used to indicate the constitutional predispositions of these patients to form fascial thickenings at multiple sites." We recently treated a patient with nodular fasciitis of his popliteal space, bilateral palmar contracture, and bilateral plantar nodules. A review of the literature revealed descriptions of Dupuytren's contracture associated with fascial thickenings at a wide variety of sites, but none described involvement of the popliteal space. We are reporting our findings to bring attention to frequently encountered sites involved in Dupuytren's diathesis.
