The author predicts the flame retardan(tFR)marketing in the coming five years,looks back and ahead for the non-halogenation of flame retardancy,and compares the advantages and disadvantages of bromine FR(BFR)and phosphorus FR(PFR).Futhermore,opportunities and chanllenges for developing organic PFR(OPFR)are discussed,and the recent progress of OPFR industry is reviewed.In addition,the author analyzes China's favorable situation in the development of OPFR,and put forward his suggestions in this aspect.
