A parastatistics representation for the quasiparticles of the large U Hubbard model for fermions in two dimensions is discussed. Our representation replaces the dynamical Gutzwiller constraint in the large U Hubbard model by a kinematical constraint obeyed by the quasiparticles. The resulting parastatistical objects interact through a U(1) gauge field, which can be interpreted in a mean field theory as a long range interaction of the quasiparticles with an effective boundary current on a macroscopic (finite) system, with the size of this current specified by the net spin of the enclosed many body system. Illustrative examples of calculations employing this statistical representation are discussed for the strongly correlated Hubbard problem both at the half filled band and away from the half filled band.
