The seismic responses of a seven span curved bridge are researched.The effect that the radius of curvature and the conditions of support on the seismic response are discussed.The difference of seismic response with a single horizontal component and two horizontal components earthquake excitation are compared.The problems about the requisite modes and the mode combination method are studied when the spectrum methods are used for calculating the seismic response of curved girder bridges.
