Cuihuashan Mountain National Geo-Park is located in the southern suburbs of Xi’an City, and it includes 3 scenic areas,i.e.,the Shuiqiuchi Pool,Ganqiuchi Pool and Daping Sightseeing Platform. In a new field investigation,it was found that Ganqiuchi Pool scenic area is a rarely and huge ancient rock landslip,it has the typical noticeable features of landslip landform, the collapsing and scattering rocks cover on the peripheral ancient landslips, the Ganqiuchi Pool is a drawn and extended depression, and not a barrier lake formed by falling deposits. A typical mud-gravel structure can be seen at the Shuiqiuchi Pool dam,it was piled up by debris flow deposits, and its formation is not related to mountain falling. From the viewpoints of spatial distribution and the order of the deposit layers, all the collapsing and scattering rocks in the geo-park were formed while occurring the landslide and debris flows. The collapsing rocks are different in sizes and forms from the different places, and the collapse deposit rocks around the geo-park formed due to the various causes and in the different period. These conceptions are fairly important to the scientific cognition and the development of tourism based on the geological remains.
