Materials and Methods Drugs. Clinical NCS with a concentration of 0.5 mg/mL (A273= 1.4) and clinical bleomycin (Blenoxane) were obtained from Dr. WT Bradner of Bristol Laboratories. Auro-momycin, obtained from Dr. T. S. A. Sarny of Sidney Farber Cancer Institute through the courtesy of Professor H. Ume-zawa, was dissolved in distilled water and its concentration determined spectrophotometrically assuming an E\\of 9.0 f From the Department of Pharmacology, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts 02115.
