Materials and MethodsReagents RPMI-1640 medium and fungizone (amphotericin B) were purchased from GIBCO Laboratories (Grand Island, NY). FCS was obtained from Hyclone Laboratories, Sterile System (Logan, UT). Penicillin G potassium was from Squibb Pharmaceuticals (Princeton, NJ). Streptomycin sulfate was from Pfizer Company (New York, NY).(3H] thymidine (sp act, 20 Ci/mmol; concentration, 1.0 mCi/ml) was purchased from New England Nuclear Research (Boston, MA). Indomethacin, prostaglandins E1 and El, lactic acid, and trypsin were obtained from Sigma Chemical Co.(St. Louis, MO). Heparinase was a generous gift from Dr. Jeremiah Silbert's laboratory in Boston.
