Magnetic and structural properties of amorphous Fe76.5−xSi15.5B7Cu1Mxalloys (M = Mo, W, Nb, Ta, Hf, Nd; x = 1–3) were investigated as a result of heat treatment. The crystallization and the microstructure is influenced by the type and the amount of the M-element. The coercivity of the nanocrystalline state as well as the grain size depend on the magnetostriction and on the exchange interaction between the Fe3Si phase and the amorphous phase, which change their chemical composition and their volume part with rising annealing temperature.
