She is also a research associate of the Peace Research Institute Oslo and a participant in a four-year collaborative project, “Imagined Sovereignties: Frontiers of Statehood and Globalization,” funded by the Norwegian Research Council. Her work focuses on ethnic conflict and displacement, border practices, transitional justice, and contested sovereignty in Cyprus, Turkey, and more recently the south Caucasus.
