We developed Body-Braille as an information transmission support tool for the deaf-blind using vibrations. With two-point Body-Braille, a Braille pattern is divided into three blocks and transmitted via vibrations using two vibration motors. In each block, four types of information, “left,” “right,” “both,” and “no exist,” are transmitted via two vibration motors. For ease of wearing, we wish to express Body-Braille with one vibration speaker. In this paper, we attempt to transmit three types of information, “left,” “right,” and “both,” with one vibration speaker. We found a vibration method with an average correct answer rate of four participants of approximately 97%. In addition, we propose a fourth vibration method and show the possibility of realizing one-point Body-Braille.
