Summary: Both the sexual and asexual fruiting bodies of Aspergillus nidulans were discovered in the lung tissue of a captive rhinoceros, in a biopsy specimen from a human with bronchial stump aspergillosis, and in the guttural pouch of a horse. In addition, a zygomycete with unusual morphology was found in the lungs of the rhinoceros.
