Continuous measurements with the FG5-202 absolute gravity meter were made at Membach side by side with the C021 superconducting gravimeter. One disposes of 47 days of exactly simultaneous registrations with both instruments. This original experiment allows to calibrate the superconducting gravimeter either in the time domain by a simple linear regression between the two sets of data or in the frequency domain by comparing the Earth tide analyses. The accuracy on the calibration factor is better than 0.1%. Moreover, this is the first time that a precise and successful tidal analysis of absolute gravimeter observations has been obtained. The comparison between the two sets of data shows also interesting features related to the stability of the superconducting gravimeter and to the relative accuracy of the absolute gravity meter.
