(2 2+ 3 ()(1)'is the observed mean equivalent volume of thesolutes in the mixed solutions at a given ionic strength, and 0, 1 are the equivalent volumes of the individual solutes in solutions of the same ionic strength, and E2 and E3 are the (weight) equivalent fractions of the two solutes. Since D'is a measure of the interaction between like-charged ions, the determination of the effect of temperature on this type of interaction is interesting.
