VD 17: Digitalisierung von im VD 17 nachgewiesenen unikalen Drucken der Forschungsbibliothek Gotha. Ein Beitrag zur Gesamtdigitalisierung des VD 17 (Masterplan Typ 1)

This project forms part of the national masterplan in order to digitize the major number of 17th-century prints recorded at the bibliographic database VD 17. lt provides access to the images by means of this database, thus forming a substantial part of the digitalization of the entire German heritage in print.ln particular the project aims at the digitalization of 3.000 German rare books from the 17th century, which, according to VD 17, can be found at the Research Library Gotha only. During three years the library will scan about 360.000 pages and publish them online. Persistent identifiers will be provided as well as links in the VD 17-database and new entries in the several catalogues and databases.
