Prototype-effect in L2 acquisition of transitive constructions

本跨语言研究的目的是考察二语日语学习者在选择格助词时是否对动词及物性敏感。我采用一种基于原型的习得观点，在这种观点中，我也考虑了L1的影响和整体语言熟练程度。本研究第一年的主要成果是通过针对母语为越南语的日语学习者的调查收集的数据。这需要编写一份日语动词表，其中包含大约600个常用的及物动词及其在越南语中的翻译，并调查它们的论点结构，以构建研究问卷。另一项成就是一篇同行评议的文章，内容是关于原型性对波斯语学习者使用日语助词的影响。

The objective of this cross-linguistic study is to examine whether L2 learners of Japanese are sensitive to verb transitivity when selecting case particles. I adopt a prototype-based view of acquisition where I also take L1 influence and overall language proficiency into account.The main achievement for the first year of this research is the data collected through surveys targeting Japanese language learners whose L1 is Vietnamese. This required composing a Japanese verb-list of around 600 commonly taught transitive verbs and their translation in Vietnamese and investigating their argument structure to construct the research questionnaire. Another achievement is a peer-reviewed article on the effect of prototypicality on Persian-speaking learners use of Japanese particles.
