Study on the optimization of intra-oral X-ray radiography

本研究的目的是基于物体信息、胶片响应和x射线光谱的计算机模拟来探讨口腔内x线摄影的优化。生成各种参数对应的图像，并显示在视频显示器上。我们已经探讨了下列问题。采用多色光子吸收法（Polychromatic Photon absorptitiometry， PCPA）扫描测量牙模的定量图像。利用单色x射线的微机曝光系统测量了各膜的能量响应。计算机程序经过改进，可以处理256x256像素的图像。从图像质量和照射剂量两方面探讨了口腔内x线摄影的优化。

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the optimization of intra-oral radiography by computer simulations based on the object information, film response, and X-ray spectrum. The images corresponding to various parameters were generated and displayed on the video display. We have approached the following subjects.1. The quantitative image of the dental phantom was measured by the Polychromatic Photon Absorptiometry(PCPA) scanning.2. The energy response of each film was measured by the microcomputer-based exposure system using monochromatic X-rays.3. The computer program was improved to treat images of 256x256 pixels.4. The optimization of intra-oral radiography was investigated from the point of view of both image quality and exposure dose.
