Sea Surface Temperature variability in the Indonesian Seas

利用区域数值模式研究了印尼海季节海温（SST）变化的潜在机制。我们发现季风是变化的主要驱动力。印尼通流的影响仅限于夏季（南半球）和努沙登加拉沿岸。局部潮汐混合的影响在夏季由于风驱动环流扩大了整个盆地。

The underlying mechanism for the seasonal Sea Surface Temperature (SST) variability in the Indonesian Seas is investigated using a regional numerical model. We find the monsoonal winds, the main driving force of the variability. The impact of the Indonesian Throughflow is limited to summer (southern hemisphere) and along the Nusa Tenggara. The impact of localized tidal mixing is found to spread basin wide during summer because of the wind-driven circulation.
