Sociological examination of the support for long-distance caregivers

此前，许多关于远程照顾者的社会学研究都只把远程照顾者作为研究的对象。这些研究对老年父母及其职业支持人群的关注还不够深入，研究成果还不够充分。本研究对研究对象进行了拓展，并得到了以下新的发现。首先，长途照顾者对没有住在一起感到内疚。其次，年迈的父母预设了他们的死亡，接受了他们的处境。第三，专业支持者对异地照护的评价不是从生活安排的角度，而是从参与内容的角度。

Previously, many sociological examinations about the long-distance caregiving has made only long distance caregiver the subject of their research. These researches have not had much attention about old parents and their professional supporter,so they have not got enough findings. This research expands the subject, and gets the new following findings. First, long distance caregivers feel guilty about not living together. Second, old parents presuppose their death and accept their situation. Third, the professional supporters estimate long distance caregiving from the viewpoint of not living arrangement but their content of involvements.
