Theoretical Study of New Phenomena Arising from Weak Bosons and New Particles.

1.系统地研究了E_8XE^‘_超弦理论中的规范层次结构问题。我们用尽了现象学上可行的模型，这些模型满足了来自质子寿命、夸克质量生成等方面的限制。对于中等质量尺度的模型，给出了重整化群分析，考虑了E_8XE^^‘_超弦理论特有的阿贝尔动力学项混合。我们从E_8XE^^‘__超弦理论出发，研究了额外U(1)模型的低能现象学。我们研究了Calabi-Yau流形中的整体对称性和Yukawa耦合，得到了四代模型。

1. We presented a systematic approach to the problem of gauge hierarchy structure in E_8xE^^'__ superstring thoery. We exhausted phenomenologically viable models which satisfy the contraints coming from the longevity of the proton, the quark mass generation etc.2. Renomalization group analysis was presented for models with the intermediate mass scale, taking into account the abelian kinetic term mixing which is the peculiar feature of the E_8xE^^'__ superstring theory.3. We studied the low energy phenomenology of the extra U(1) model aristing from the E_8xE^^'__ superstring theory.4. We investigated global symmetries and Yukawa couplings in the Calabi-Yau manifold which results in four-generation models.
