Development of The Bed Control Simulation System for nursing care

THINK（鹿儿岛大学综合医院信息系统）的医院信息系统自1984年以来一直在运行。该系统通过临床支持系统可以查询一线药品信息、医嘱历史、实验室检查结果、护理数据等。本文对THINK系统的数据库系统进行了改进，通过工程师工作站（EWS）实现了对临床数据库和病人数据库的访问。我们开发的医院管理系统，可以分析各种临床数据EWS和模拟床控制，护士安排的图形功能，在个人计算机（PC）。

The Hospital Information System of named THINK (Total Hospital Information System of Kagoshima University) has been running since 1984. In this system we can retrieve the one-line drug information, the order history, th laboratory results, nursing data and so on by the clinical support system. And the hospital management system is operated efficiently using the database of the THINK system.In this paper, we report that we have improved the way of the utilization of the mainframe database system and we could access the clinical and patient database by the engineer workstation (EWS). We have developed the hospital management system that can analyze various clinical data using EWS and simulate bed control, nurse arrangement by graphic function using personal computer (PC).
