Anomalous spin fluctuations near the Mott transition in Caz-xSrx RuO_4

为了研究p波超导体Sr_2RuO_4（不含Cu离子）中的自旋涨落，我们在日本东海研究堆JRR-3 M上生长了大单晶样品，并研究了其非弹性散射谱。观察并分析了1.3meV < E < 25 meV的非弹性自旋涨落谱随温度的变化。动力学磁化率在低于100 K时增加，能谱出现急剧下降。动力学磁化率的能宽与温度呈线性关系，但伴随着1 ~ 8 meV的大剩余宽度，表明其具有反常的自旋涨落行为。

To study spin fluctuations in p-wave superconductor Sr_2RuO_4 which includes no Cu ions, we grow a large single crystal samples, and studied inelastic scattering spectra at the Japanese research reactor JRR-3M in JAERI, Toaki, Japan. The temperature dependence of the inelastic spin fluctuation spectra for 1.3 meV < E < 25 meV was observed and analyzed. The dynamical susceptibility increases below 〜 100K, and shows a sharp drop in the energy spectra. The energy width of the dynamical susceptibility follows a linear relation with temperature, but it accompanies with a large residual width 1 〜 8 meV, indicating its anomalous behavior of spin fluctuations.
