Anthropological Sciences under Post-colonial Situation in Japan

本研究追溯了日本在1945年后的人类学（体质人类学、民族学和民俗学）的历史，当时日本失去了在东亚的所有殖民地，并考虑了这些科学在战败期间的连续性和非连续性。特别地，它包含了(1)9个学会理事会对马岛的研究（1950-51）和(2)体质人类学家对混血儿童的研究和生理学家对环境适应性的研究。很明显，这些研究受到了亚太战争和随后东亚冷战格局的影响。

This research traces the history of anthropological sciences (physical anthropology, ethnology and folklore)in Japan after 1945, when Japan lost all colonies in East Asia, and considers continuity and discontinuity of these sciences across the defeat. Specially, it takes up (1) the research on Tsushima by Council of Nine Learned Societies (1950-51) and (2) the research on mixed-blood children by physical anthropologists and the research on environmental adaptability by physiologists. It became clear that these researches were affected by the Asia-Pacific War and the following cold war structure in the East Asia.
