A study of the Eastern Cultural Policy and Chinese Students in Japan : Focus on Tao Jingsun

本研究的目的是在文献资料的基础上，描述陶景荪对东方文化政策的参与。中国海归的网络和他们在中国的职业被用来追踪陶的活动。他的工作时间从日本外务省选拔的特殊奖学金学生到上海科学院工作期间。此外，很明显，陶是在二战后被派往台湾征用台湾帝国大学的。本文对现有文献进行了拓展，为陶景荪的研究提供了一个新的视角。

The purpose of this study was to describe Tao Jingsun's involvement of the Eastern Cultural Policy based on historical documents. The network of Chinese returnees and their career in China were used to trace down Tao' s activities. His work dated from the time when he was a special scholarship student selected by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan to the time when he worked at the Shanghai Science Institute. In addition, It came clear that Tao was sent to Taiwan to requisition Taiwan Imperial University after World War II. This paper extends the existing literature by giving a new perspective to Tao Jingsun`s study.
