A Comprehensive Study on Jaina Cosmology through Philological Method combined with Graphical Analysis.

通过研究，我们发现耆那教的宇宙观是从正典时期到公元13世纪逐渐发展起来的，我们现在所知道的宇宙观一定是在那个时期出现的。我们还发现，耆那教特有的宇宙人的概念在后正典文献中被提及，但其详细描述仅在后来的文本中可用。对于耆那教宇宙学的发展，小教派比大教派贡献更大。我们的研究还表明，对宇宙的描绘出现得较晚。

In this research we found out that the cosmology in Jainism developed gradually from the canonical period through 13^<th> century and its concept as we know now must have appeared in the time. We also found out that the idea of cosmic person, which is peculiar to the Jainism, is mentioned in the post canonical literature but its detail description is available only in the later texts. For the development of cosmology in Jainism the minor sect contributed more than the major one. Our research also shows that depiction of the cosmos comes out later period.
