Development of Lip Movement Sensor for Mobile Phone

唇动传感器通过反射红外光来感知说话人的唇动。当传感器在手机上使用时，存在每次传感器位置不同的问题。在本研究中，我们通过在手机上安装9个唇动传感器并自动选择最佳传感器信号来提高传感器位置的鲁棒性。每个用户在不同的传感器位置下，仅通过唇动就能达到74.1%的日语五十字识别率。提高了7.2%。

Lip movement sensor senses speaker's lip movement by reflection of infrared light. When the sensor uses on mobile phone, there is a problem that the sensor position is different in each time. In this study, we improved robustness for the sensor position by installing nine lip movement sensors on the mobile phone and selecting the best sensor signal automatically. We achieved 74.1% Japanese fifty words recognition rate only by lip movement under different sensor position by each user. It was 7.2% improvement.
