Remigration of Chinese Indonesians and China, Hong Kong and Taiwan

本研究项目主要关注邦加勿里洞省的华人，他们于1950年代末至1960年代初首先移民到中国，然后移民到香港。通过20世纪70年代在印度尼西亚和香港进行的实地考察，证实了与再移民有关的各种事实，如再移民的主要原因和移民的条件。此外，他们与当代印度尼西亚的关系，他们的语言能力变得清晰。作为未来的研究建议，有必要与中国大陆，台湾以及其他东南亚国家的专家进行合作研究项目，以便对中国大陆人的再移民有更全面的了解。

This research project mainly focused on the Chinese Indonesians from Bangka Belitung province who migrated first to China from late 1950s to 1960s then to Hong Kong. By conducting the fieldworks in both Indonesia and Hong Kong in 1970s, various facts relating to the re-migration such as main cause of re-migration and condition of the migration were confirmed. In addition, their relationship with contemporary Indonesia, their ability of languages became clear. As a future research proposal, it is necessary to conduct co-research project with the specialists on mainland China, Taiwan, as well as other Southeast Asian countries, in order to obtain more holistic view on the re-migration of Chinese Indonesians.
