Study of Turnaround Management : Recognition of Turnaround Situation and Turnaround Action in Japanese Companies

本研究旨在探讨日本企业对周转状况的认知与周转行动之间的关系。访谈作为数据收集和定性技术应用于数据分析。调查结果显示，较早认识到周转情况的公司倾向于较早开始周转行动。结果表明，高层及早认识到企业的周转情况，迅速向成员发出危机预警，产生危机感，并采取措施在成员中传播危机感是其突出特点。

This study investigated the relation between recognition of turnaround situation and turnaround action in Japanese companies. Interviews were used as the data collection and qualitative techniques were applied for data analysis. Findings showed companies recognized turnaround situation earlier had a tendency to start earlier turnaround action. Results indicated that early recognition of turnaround situation by top management and warning against crisis to their members quickly, producing a sense of impending crisis, taking measures to spread it among members were their outstanding characteristics.
