Research on the impact of precarious employment contract on workers' health

最近的研究表明，不稳定的雇佣合同可能会影响工人的健康。本研究采用前期研究、访谈、健康检查和国家统计等方法，对日本非稳定劳动合同劳动者（兼职、派遣、合同工/临时工等）和固定劳动者的健康状况进行了调查。因此，澄清了以下情况：不稳定工人的健康状况往往较差，病假和与劳工事务有关的伤害较少（文献综述）；不稳定工人往往有主观症状，在许多情况下，他们停止医院就诊或无法申请工人事故赔偿，他们往往没有被健康保险覆盖或没有接受体检（访谈）；全职不稳定工人患心理困扰和吸烟习惯的风险较高，2000年上半年工人自我评价的健康状况恶化（流行病学研究）。

Recent studies suggest that unstable employment contracts may affect the health of workers. We investigated the health status of Japanese workers with precarious employment contracts(part-time, dispatched, and contract/non-regular workers, etc.) to that of permanent workers using the previous researches, interviews, health examinations and national statistics. As a result, the followings were clarified : Precarious workers often have poor health status, fewer sickness absences and injuries related to labor affairs(literature review); precarious workers tend to have subjective symptoms, there are many cases where they discontinue hospital visits or where they cannot apply for workers' accidents compensation, and they tend to have being uncovered by health insurances or not receiving medical examinations(interviews); full-time precarious workers have higher risk of suffering psychological distress and smoking habits, and that workers' self-rated health deteriorated during the first half of the year 2000(epidemiological studies).
