Development of a rapid and simple diagnostic method for detection of atypical pneumonia pathogen

本研究建立了一种快速、简便的非典型病原体肺炎支原体和肺炎衣原体的诊断方法。目前已开发出检测非典型病原体IgM抗体的免疫层析试验。测试可以在10分钟内完成并评估。本试验的基础和临床结果与国际标准血清学试验结果一致。此外，我们还开发了一种疑似非典型肺炎的临床诊断方法，并证实了其临床实用性。

We developed a rapid and simple diagnostic method for detection of atypical pathogens, Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Chlamydophila pneumoniae, which is major cause of respiratory tract infections. Immunochromatographic test for the detection of IgM antibodies against atypical pathogens has been developed at present. The test can be performed and evaluated in 10 minutes. Basic and clinical results of this test showed good agreement with other world standard serological tests. In addition, we developed a clinical diagnostic method for suspect atypical pneumonia and confirmed the clinical usefulness.
