Designing guidelines for prevention of childhood overweight as part of health checkups for infants

本研究的目的是分析与儿童超重相关的因素（如婴儿健康检查中所示），并设计预防指南。本分析设计为队列研究。随着越来越多的3至5岁儿童变得超重，有必要防止他们在婴儿期超重。研究发现，母亲吸烟和不吃早餐等因素与后代超重有关。儿童超重还与4岁时肥胖反弹、睡眠不足、长时间看电视等生活方式有关，公共卫生护士已经意识到预防儿童超重的必要性。然而，他们还必须意识到婴儿期的任何其他发育障碍/疾病和营养不良。因此，他们必须与其他卫生专业人员合作，提高对儿童健康的认识。我们计划设计一项以社区为基础的干预性研究，涉及广泛的卫生专业人员，如儿科医生，儿童保育提供者和营养学家。

The aim of this study is to analyze the factors associated with childhood overweight, as evident in health checkups of infants, and to design guidelines to prevent it. This analysis was designed as a cohort study. As an increasing number of children between the ages of 3 to 5 years are becoming overweight, it has become necessary to prevent them from being so during infancy. It was found that factors such as maternal smoking and skipping of breakfast were associated with the offspring's overweight. Children's overweight was also related to conditions like adiposity rebound at 4 years and their lifestyle involving insufficient sleep, long hours of TV watching, and so on. Public health nurses have realized the need to prevent children from being overweight. However, they must also be aware of any other developmental disability/disease and malnutrition during infancy. Hence, it is essential that they cooperate with other health professionals and promote awareness about childhood health. We plan to design a community-based interventional study involving a wide range of health professionals, such as pediatricians, childcare providers, and nutritionists.
