Index associated with child health service utilization in Lao PDR and Viet Nam

在发展中国家，通过促进保健服务的利用可以预防儿童死亡。我们展示了一个促进老挝人民民主共和国丰萨利省农村地区卫生服务利用的教育项目。我们还利用老挝人民民主共和国多指标类集调查和越南人口与健康调查的数据，证明了一个与儿童卫生服务利用相关的指数，该指数代表了卫生服务特征与人口特征之间的相互作用，与儿童常规疫苗接种覆盖率显著相关。

Child mortality is preventable by the promotion of health service utilization in developing countries. We showed an education program promotes health service utilization in rural areas in Phongsaly province, Lao PDR. We also demonstrated an index associated with child health service utilization, which represents the interactions among characteristics of health services and those of population, is significantly related with the child routine vaccination coverage, using data from the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey in Lao PDR and the Demographic and Health Survey in Viet Nam.
