A study on complex livelihood and its contemporarycharacteristics in African semi dryland

本研究旨在调查非洲半干旱地区复杂生计及其在气候变化条件下的当代特征。通过实地调查和文献检索，证实了生计的多样化。多样化生计主要指引入动物饲养、在池塘和季节性河流旱季进行黄金开采和渔业。动物饲养的引入是自20世纪70年代以来因干旱而开始向南迁徙的牧民的结果。

This study aims to investigate complex livelihood and its contemporary caracteristics under variable climatic conditions of African semi arid land.As a result of field survey and literature search,diversification of livelihood was confirmed.Diversification livelihoods means mainly, introduction of animal feeding, wage earning by gold mining and fishery in dry season at ponds and seasonal rivers.Intoroduction of animal feeding is a result of southward migration of pastoralists which had stared since 1970s because of drought.
