Search for biomarkers of bipolar disorder

为了寻找双相情感障碍的生物标志物，我们提取了与双相情感障碍不一致的单卵双生子的淋巴母细胞来源的蛋白质，并用双向荧光差示凝胶电泳法比较了双相情感障碍患者和同卵双胞胎患者的蛋白质水平。我们使用针对部分已鉴定蛋白的抗体，通过蛋白质印迹分析进行病例对照研究。我们鉴定了一种糖酵解相关蛋白，该蛋白在患者和健康对照组中的表达水平不同。该蛋白可能是双相情感障碍的生物标记物。

To search for biomarker of bipolar disorder, we extracted proteins derived from lymphoblastoid cells of monozygotic twins discordant for bipolar disorder and compared protein levels between patients with bipolar disorder and co-twin using two-dimensional fluorescence difference gel electrophoresis. Using antibodies against a part of proteins identified, we performed the case-control study by using western blot analysis. We identified a glycolysis related protein that is different expression levels between patients and healthy controls. The protein may be a biomarker of bipolar disorder.
